How the Calculator Works

The calculator uses the standard compound interest formula:

A = P × (1 + r/n)^(n × t)
  

Where:
• P = principal amount
• r = annual interest rate (decimal)
• n = number of compounding periods per year
• t = time in years
• A = final amount

Example

P = 2000  
r = 6%  
n = 4  
t = 5  

Possible Output:
Final Amount = 2698.57  
Total Interest = 698.57
